All Mansfield students and employees can create and host video meetings, which can be accessed from this website: https://mansfield.zoom.us/. Use the Zoom Cheat Sheet for instructions on how to get started.
CT does not lend such equipment. Fortunately, webcam and microphones are optional in applications used for remote work, such as Zoom web conferencing - phones can be used to dial in and participate in meetings and conversations. Please refer to the Getting Started with Online Resources course in Desire2Learn for training materials regarding Zoom, and including dialing in with a phone.
Safari
- In the Safari menu bar, click the Safari option
- Click the Clear History link
- In the Clear drop-down menu, select the time range where you want to clear browsing data
- Click Clear History
Chrome
- On the browser toolbar, click the Chrome menu icon
- Select the More Tools link
- Select the Clear browsing data link
- In the data drop-down menu, select the time range where you want to clear browsing data
- Select the Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files checkboxes
- Click Clear Browsing Data
Firefox
- In the Firefox menu bar, click the Firefox option
- Select the Preferences link
- Click the Privacy tab
- Under the History heading, click the clear your recent history link
- Select the Cache checkbox
- Click Clear Now
Chrome
- In the browser bar, enter chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
- At the top of the "Clear browsing data" window, click Advanced
- Select the following:
- Browsing history
- Download history
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- From the "Time range" drop-down menu, you can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information; to clear your entire cache, select All time
- Click Clear Data
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser
Firefox
- From the History menu, select Clear Recent History. If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible.
- From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything
- Next to Details, click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items
- Click Clear Now
- Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser
Microsoft Edge
- In the top right, click the Hub icon (looks like star with three horizontal lines)
- Click the History icon (looks like a clock), and then select Clear all history
- Select Browsing history, then Cookies and saved website data, and then Cached data and files
- Click Clear
- After the "All Clear!" message appears, exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser
