| Network Card: | 10/100 ethernet PCI card for connecting to TechConnect & Broadband at home. Wireless is not supported in the Dorms. |
| Modem: | If Broadband is not available in your area, 56K Modem for connecting to Internet from home (NOT needed for TechConnect) |
| Printer: | Color Ink jet printer or laser printer |
| Multimedia: | Sound card, speakers and headphones |
| Other Equipment: | 1GB USB drive device (Thumbdrive or Jumpdrive). |

| Display: | 14.1" or better XGA TFT |
| Network Card: | 10/100 Fast Ethernet Card for connection to TechConnect & Broadband at home. Wireless is not supported in the Dorm rooms. However, there are wireless hot spots across campus. Visit wireless.mansfield.edu for locations. |

Software Considerations:
We recommend that you include Microsoft Office 2007 with your new system. It will likely be available as an upgrade option. Also include a virus protection program. The University supplies a current copy of McAfee Antivirus, available at the My.Mansfield (my.mansfield.edu) intranet site. This site requires a login - students should use their email username & password for access.
Windows Vista (in all its flavors) will be accepted and supported by TechConnect.
