Getting Started with CT @ MU

Account Info

New Student - My Account Information for Spring 2013 will be available beginning November 1, 2012 for those students who have confirmed their attendance, by paying the advance deposit to the Admissions Office. Accounts will then be created on a daily basis (after November 1st) for newly confirmed students. Please allow 24-48 hours after you have confirmed your attendance for all of your accounts to be set up. This account information will allow you to access your mounties email account and My.Mansfield ONLY.

Visit MyAccount for your Campus Services login information for access to Email, Desire2Learn, WebAdvisor, My.mansfield, eTime and wireless campus services. You will need your 7-digit student ID number, the last four digits of your social security number, and the year you were born in order to access this information.

 

Desire2Learn

 

Desire2Learn (D2L) access may be available beginning January 14, 2013. D2L course information is loaded by each individual professor. Therefore, the information may be available two weeks prior to the start of the semester but as late as the first day of the semester, depending on the faculty member.

Email

New student emails are created on a daily basis for anyone currently registered. If attending an earlier Orientation session, your account information is available at the time of your orientation. Please allow 24 - 48 hours after you are registered for classes for your account to be setup. Access My Accounts for information about your new Mounties email Account.

TechConnect Carry-In Center

For problems with residence hall room computer connectivity, call ext. 5806 (campus phone) or (570) 513-5806 or visit Pinecrest Manor room 102.

SafeConnect

All residence hall students will need to register with SafeConnect in order to access the network.

Please access the SafeConnect page on our Student Technology Web for the latest information about registering your computer.

WebAdvisor

WebAdvisor will be available beginning December 3, 2012 for all students registered for spring classes. After December 3, WA access will be available 24 hours after being registered for classes.

Access Webadvisor using your campus services username and your WebAdvisor PIN number.

  • PIN numbers for all New students are originally set to the last four numbers of the social security number.
  • Returning Students' PINs have not changed.
  • Faculty WebAdvisor pins are initially set to the last four numbers of the social security number and the first letter of the first & last name.

Students: If you are unsure of your username or password, access MyAccounts to determine your username & initial password for WebAdvisor.

Students & Faculty: If you have forgotten your WebAdvisor password, access WebAdvisor. Click on What's my Password in the bottom right corner of the Main Menu and then click on Reset My Password on the next screen. Follow the directions and a temporary password will be sent to your campus email address.

If you have followed the instructions above and are still having problems accessing WebAdvisor, please call the Registrar's Office at ext. 4202.
